There were other nights, and other fires.

We took the kids out to cheer on the triathletes at the International Triathlon Union’s world finale!
The city was transformed and the most amazing athletes were gracing our roads and park day after day. What a thrill!

I have also been on the media circuit to promote Edmonton Down Syndrome Society’s Uniquely Me event on Thursday night.

It’s a fashion show and live auction event! Local designers are creating collections specifically for the models Thursday evening, and I can’t be more excited to wear a tuxedo designed by Kathleen Todoruk!

I also enjoyed the Prism tour brought to Edmonton by Katy Perry – Great show! Totally energizing.
Back to school also signals back to work on the public service volunteer front. My full coverage red lipstick is back in rotation and the evening dresses are out.
The kids and I also followed Don to work at a community BBQ. We ate hot dogs, ice cream sandwiches, and played in the park. My little girl is growing up so fast!

And amidst it all, out on the bike.
